At STEAMspark, we are committed to providing a best in class education for all of our children. We understand that tuition can be a significant investment for families, which is why we offer a confidential tuition assistance program managed through FACTS.
This program exists to support access. Our goal is to partner with families so that finances are not the only deciding factor in a child’s educational path.
Important Dates
Application deadline:
February 10
Award notifications:
Will be issued in April, provided all materials have been submitted on time
Families who have not yet completed admissions may begin the tuition assistance application; however, awards are only finalized once the child is formally admitted.
New Families
To be considered for tuition assistance, families should:
- Demonstrate financial need through the application process
- Be current on all financial obligations to STEAMspark
- Have a child who is enrolled or in the process of completing admissions
Renewals
We make every effort to continue supporting families who qualify for assistance.
Families must reapply each year, as awards are not automatically renewed. Adjustments may be made based on updated financial information and available funds.

Step 1:

Reviews

Applications are first reviewed by FACTS and a suggested aid amount is provided to the STEAMspark Team using a consistent set of criteria.
Determination

Awards are determined based on demonstrated need, available funds, and overall enrollment.
Notification

Families are notified of award decisions in conjunction with admissions decisions.
Confidentiality
Step 5:
Tuition assistance information is kept confidential and does not impact a child’s classroom experience.

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA)
STEAMspark is an approved campus for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program.
Texas Education Freedom Accounts allow eligible families to use state-funded education dollars toward qualified educational expenses, including private school tuition. Approval for this program means that qualifying families may be able to apply their Education Freedom Account funds directly toward tuition at STEAMspark.
Texas Education Freedom Accounts were created to expand educational choice and provide families with greater flexibility in selecting learning environments that best meet their child’s needs. STEAMspark is proud to be recognized as an approved educational provider within this program.
What This Means for STEAMspark Families
Eligible families may use Texas Education Freedom Account funds to help offset tuition costs beginning with the approved school year. This can make a STEAMspark education more accessible for families who qualify.

Families apply directly through the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program. Eligibility, funding amounts, and application timelines are determined by the state and may vary by family.
