summerSPARK is an unforgettable summer experience designed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Rooted in the innovative approach of STEAMspark, each week blends hands-on exploration, collaborative projects, and joyful adventure. Campers dive into themes that bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life while enjoying the magic of friendship, outdoor play, and summer fun.
Whether your child loves to build, create, perform, or experiment, summerSPARK offers the perfect balance of learning and play in a safe and engaging environment led by our experienced STEAMspark guides. Each session inspires imagination, builds confidence, and keeps children excited about learning all summer long.
This summer, we invite our community to Journey Into summerSPARK 2026—a nine-week, immersive global travel experience designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence while maintaining strong academic momentum. Each week, students will “travel” to a new destination inspired by the world’s cultures, environments, innovations, and traditions, bringing global learning to life through hands-on discovery.
Weekly themes guide students across continents and communities through thoughtfully designed STEAM experiences, exploring art, science, engineering, technology, storytelling, food, music, geography, and problem-solving from around the world. From cultural traditions and natural wonders to modern innovation and creative expression, each destination invites learners to explore how people live, create, and connect globally.
summerSPARK blends enrichment, exploration, and joy in a way that is distinctly STEAMspark, intentional, engaging, and deeply inspiring. Along the journey, students build skills, independence, collaboration, and confidence while nurturing a lifelong love of learning and a broader understanding of the world around them.
Who can attend?
- Currently enrolled STEAMspark students: summerSPARK serves children from six weeks through 12 years of age, spanning both our Early Childhood and Elementary Programs. Enrolled families are asked to notify the office by the end of January of the weeks they plan to attend in order to guarantee their child’s seat. Registrations submitted after this date are subject to availability.
- Non-enrolled families: summerSPARK is open to children ages 3–12 who are fully potty trained and able to adapt to a Montessori learning environment.
Program Overview
summerSPARK runs for nine weeks from late May through July 2026. Each morning includes a mini work cycle designed to reinforce academic skills and reduce summer learning loss. Core program hours are 8:00 AM–3:15 PM, with extended options available:
- Before Camp: begins at 7:00 AM
- After Camp: until 4:30 PM
- Extended Day: available until 5:30 PM
Location & Experiences
summerSPARK is hosted at our campus at 1400 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX, with carefully planned field trips and off-campus experiences throughout the DFW Metroplex. (Field trips are available to children who are at least six years old by September 1, 2026.)

Meals, Safety, and Communication
STEAMspark provides two snacks daily and a chef-prepared lunch with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Breakfast is included for children enrolled in Before Camp who arrive before 7:30 AM, with additional snacks offered during After Camp and Extended Day.
All summerSPARK staff members are CPR and First Aid certified, including pediatric CPR. Families will receive updates, messages, and announcements through brightwheel, our primary communication platform during summerSPARK.
