Accreditation is more than a credential; it is a rigorous process of reflection, evaluation, and continuous improvement that affirms our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for every child.

Accreditation at STEAMspark

Founded in October 2020, STEAMspark has quickly distinguished itself as a leader in innovative Montessori and gifted education. In 2023, we became an American Montessori Society (AMS) Verified School, affirming our adherence to the highest standards of Montessori practice. In 2025, we proudly earned full Cognia Accreditation, further validating the strength of our academic, operational, and organizational systems from early childhood through elementary.

Why Accreditation Matters

Accreditation ensures that families can trust the integrity and quality of their child’s educational environment. It confirms that our programs are research based, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with best practices in teaching, learning, and leadership. For our students, accreditation means access to a world class education that meets both Montessori and national standards. Our accreditation journey is guided by the vision and expertise of Dr. Jovan Wells, Founder and Head of School. With more than a decade of experience working with the American Montessori Society (AMS), Dr. Wells has served in several national leadership roles, including:
